Exists to provide an arena for the burgeoning field of competitive video game playing. As interactive entertainment technology progresses, together with the competitiveness of human nature, it is only natural that competitive leagues form so that players can test their mettle against others in a controlled environment, with set rules and trackable results. Smart Monkey plans to provide a venue for such events by organizing tournaments in metropolitan areas, like New York, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco Together with a progressive point system that allows for winners from those different cities to ultimately compete in a final showdown, with both bragging rights and prize money on the line.
